Essential Tee

Soooo do disappointed they don’t make the Essential T in long torso anymore. Is a dis service to those of us who have longer torsos, like to tuck the top in and not have it coming out! Too bad! It WAS a terrific item. I bought them in all the colors and now want to update my tops and they don’t fit like they did…returned them!

Not sure what happened to the Essential tee! Used to be my favorite, but now the exact same size I used to get is tiny and short, I’m very confused! Why did Downeast change the whole style of the Essential Tee? It’s awful!

I love these tees through and through they are so soft and they last a long time if you take care of them. I have been buying these tees for many years.

These tees are AWESOME! I prefer them to the old ones that tuck all the way down under my bum, making lines you can see through my pants. These new shirts sit at the perfect spot, and they are slightly less see through than the old ones. They are perfect for a layering tee.

I used to love these because they were long and made of quality material. I ordered this one and it’s super thin/ feels cheap. It’s way short. All of that combined means it rolls up under my shirt, which is both uncomfortable and annoying.

I love these layering tees! I’ve been using them for 10+ years. I have a whole dresser drawer devoted only to my Downeast layering tees.

Not as pictured. New style too short. Fabric is cheap. Bought these shirts for years and won't buy again unless the length is changed. Disappointed.

My teen daughters have relied on these tees for layering. Their old essential tees were getting tired so I bought four new ones to refresh their wardrobe. The material was way different than before and had changed. Super thin, see through, and no longer works as the layering tee they relied on. I returned them and preferred taking the.hit to pay for return shipping rather than keeping them.

The new style is too short. I wear tops that that sit just below my waist so these tops help prevent flashing my students.

These are great for alternating dresses and so comfy too!

I hate the new style. Too short to stay tucked, feels much thinner…nearly see through. Even though it still says 95% / 5% it feels VERY different. A little cheaper. I’ve been ordering these tees for years and am SO disappointed in the new style. How do I find the old style?

Fits great, works great! I wish it was just a tad bit longer but I like it otherwise.

I feel like these run small and they are not l9ng enough. I normally wear large UT ordered 2 LG and 2 xl and the xl barely fits. I hope to return the size large ones because they will not work. The quality and price are good though

Great fit and it will be nice under sweaters. I am a 38B size bus and the medium fits nicely.
