Learn about our order fulfillment timelines, domestic and international shipping rates, and delivery expectations.
Important Note on Expedited Shipping:
Selecting Priority Shipping speeds up transit time with the carrier once your package leaves our facility. It does not expedite warehouse fulfillment time. All orders require standard processing of 2–3 business days prior to carrier pickup.
Order Processing & Timelines
- Fulfillment Window: Orders ship from our warehouse in Nibley, Utah or one of our retail store locations. Please allow 2 to 3 business days for orders to be processed and packed.
- Weekend & Holiday Cutoffs: Our distribution center is closed on weekends. Orders placed on Saturday, or Sunday will begin processing the following business week. High-volume sales and holidays may cause slight processing delays.
- Order Changes & Cancellations: Because our fulfillment system begins processing orders immediately, orders cannot be changed, modified, or canceled once placed. This includes size, color, item, and delivery address changes.

- Free Shipping Qualifications: Free Ground Shipping applies to orders of $100 or more containing Downeast-branded clothing and jewelry shipped to the continental U.S. Items from third-party partners and direct dropship accessories (such as Fawn Design) are excluded from the free shipping promotion.
- Shipping Fees: All shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Carrier Transit: Delivery estimates are based on carrier timelines (USPS/FedEx). Weather events, natural disasters, and carrier delays are beyond our control.
Non-Continental U.S. & Military Addresses
Expedited shipping is not available for these destinations. Packages ship via standard ground services:
- Alaska & Hawaii: $10.00 Flat Rate Ground
- APO / FPO / DPO Military Addresses: $10.00 Flat Rate Ground
- U.S. Territories: $25.00 Flat Rate Ground

Note: International customers are responsible for all applicable customs duties, taxes, and import fees levied by destination customs.
Package Issues & Delivery Claims
- Package Protection: If you purchased optional package protection at checkout, your order is protected against transit loss, theft, or damage. Please reach out to Customer Service to initiate a quick replacement.
- Orders Lost in Transit (Unprotected): Downeast is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once received by the shipping carrier. If your tracking status has not shown movement or "Delivered" after 14 days from the ship date, contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
- Packages Marked "Delivered": If tracking shows delivered but you have not received your parcel, claims must be filed directly with the designated shipping carrier (USPS or FedEx).
