We are excited to ship out your order, before it is delivered here are a few details to help you get ready for your delivery.
Prepare for Delivery
We ship all furniture pieces within the continental United States directly from our Salt Lake City, Utah warehouse. All items will be shipped to your home or business. The delivery timeline is based upon the distance of the delivery destination from our warehouse, which typically takes between two to four weeks from the time the order is placed, please note that due to high order volume during the holiday season we may experience additional delays. When the item is in transit, our delivery team will contact you to coordinate a delivery time.
Orders that contain items that are shipped as economy will automatically be delivered via threshold delivery (order delivered just inside front door).
White glove service may be deemed unavailable in certain locations upon delivery. The shipping service will be converted to a threshold delivery and a refund will be processed for the price difference.
Orders placed with one delivery payment will be delivered in a single transaction when all merchandise is available. If you’d like to request multiple deliveries, place separate orders to receive product as it is available. Please note, additional fees will apply to multiple deliveries.
Once shipped, the delivery address cannot be changed. Orders must be accepted within 7 days of contact by delivery carriers. Orders that are not accepted within 7 days of contact will be considered a refused and will be returned to Downeast. Refused orders will incur a $250 refusal fee and 10% restocking fee.
Please keep in mind that increased freight traffic of our delivery partners during holiday season may cause longer wait times.

Take Note of Any Package Damage
We are proud to offer delivery on large items all across the country. However, with cross-country shipping comes the potential of damage to packaging. Please photograph any visible damage to the package for your record.
If damage is visible, you can deny acceptance of the shipment. Though once you sign to accept the order, if it is damaged, this can hinder your ability to return or replace the item. If there is no damage, please sign to accept the package.
Orders with no damages that are not accepted within 7 days of contact will be considered a refused and will be returned to Downeast. Refused orders will incur a $250 refusal fee and 10% restocking fee.
Returns on Distressed Design
Returns are not accepted on items that are purposefully distressed or worn due to the style aesthetic as this is a part of the design.

All orders are shipped from Salt Lake, Utah. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2-3 business days.
Orders placed on Fridays will not be processed until the following week, as our warehouse is closed on weekends. Orders placed on a Holiday will be processed within 1-3 business days after the Holiday.
Once placed, orders cannot be canceled or modified. This includes but is not limited to requests to change product size, product color, and address change.

We offer free Ground Shipping on all orders $100 and over to the continental U.S.
*Please note that Holidays and sales may delay the shipping process. We will do our best to fulfill orders as quickly as possible.
*While these delivery times are expected, we unfortunately do not have control over any delays that may be caused by USPS or UPS including weather delays.

Make a Claim:
Downeast is not responsible for lost/stolen/damaged packages once an order has been shipped.
In the event your order is lost in transit where the status is not "delivered" after 14 days of the order date please reach out to our Customer Service Team to start a claim.
Claims for packages presumed to be lost where the status is “delivered” must be filed with the shipping carrier either USPS or UPS.
