The new fabric is soft, just a touch of sheen, strong and you’ll feel well contained without being smothered. Nice cut, not too boxy, not too fitting. It slightly glides over my body. I got a large, I’m 160 lbs, 5’6”, 36A. I think this just might be worthy of the name “essential crew”. I’ll wear it alone, and can picture it layered under a sweater. Pine bark is a strange name for a lovely shade of dark taupe. I purchased the pink, ‘cactus flower’, and sadly it’s missing from my order box, but I’m sure the company will take care of that for me when I contact them. I’m excited to see that in person.
Delivers! As a brown skinned woman, I’m always on the hunt for white tops that aren’t too sheer. THIS IS THAT SHIRT. Thank you, DownEast. Second, this fabric blend is soft, flattering, and I can tell it will hold up for many, many washes. I’m feeling like I’m getting my money’s worth. Third, SOFT fabric. Fourth, excellent sleeve length and width. If you aren’t confident about your upper arms, welcome to your new favorite t shirt.
I sized up for fear of sleeves too tight. I’m sizing down in black and the tan colors because they looked boxy in the arm pit area. I’m very small chested and have narrow shoulders. I’m not worried about the sleeves being too tight in a medium. I expect it to be perfect. The white sized up looks great. Don’t know what they look different, but just putting it out there. Hope it helps you. I definitely recommend this shirt alone, or layered.
More colors please! An apple green, yellow, navy, fuschia, polka dot or plaid would be fun! thanks for a great shirt.
Here we are! This is what I was looking for. This hits just right over an open sleeve undergarment top. It’s just snug enough, with that flattering fit these layering pieces traditionally provide. VERY soft, I like the new fabric blend. I think it will be longer lasting plain the previous blends. This is the quality I look for from DownEast. Thank you. More colors, please! I will have a few of these on hand.

Love!!! Such a fantastic transition piece for summer into fall. Perfect with jeans a a dressier trouser. Thrown on a navy or green v-neck cardigan and it the perfect school teacher winter outfit!
Super cute plaid print! I usually wear an XS, but I opted for a small because some of the previous spring & summer dress styles ran small. The small is a little large through the top, so I would recommend sticking to your true size unless you prefer a looser fit up top.
