This dress has an elasticized waistline which is completely unnecessary given the tied belt! I'm baffled by this elasticized waist that hits just below the bust, when the tied belt would sit comfortably on most people at least an inch lower, at their natural waist. You can even see this in some of the photos - the tied belt doesn't want to rest at the elasticized waist. I'm so disappointed because this would be a beautiful dress otherwise, if the choice of adding the elasticized waist didn't force the wearer into an unflattering fit. Tied belt - YES! Elasticized waist - NEVER!
